2010/2011 Don Breimeir Scholarship Winner

Benjamin Castelli, Imperial, Southeast Missouri State University

Scholarship Will Impact His Future: "Personally, the CPA would help me earn the respect of my fellow team members, as well as build my confidence and level of expertise. Professionally, the CPA would broaden my technical skills in order to help me deliver quality service, build stronger client relationships, and work effectively with a variety of public and private companies in different industries worldwide."

Kaitlin Chitwood, New Franklin, University of Missouri-Columbia

Funding Now - Future MSCPA Member and Contributor: "This scholarship will greatly help me in funding the remainder of my education. After graduation, I plan to use my accounting knowledge in the audit practice of a large public accounting firm in Kansas City. Eventually, I would like to use my auditing experience to work in the accounting department of a private firm. I also hope to soon be a practicing member of the MSCPA, and to contribute to the scholarship fund in order to help future accounting students as I have been helped."

Keley Leiber, Appleton City, Missouri State University

Funding Makes Career Pursuit Possible: "This scholarship is a huge help to me funding the final year of my education. Upon graduation, I plan to use the knowledge I've gained throughout my college education to help me take the CPA exam. I plan to pursue a career in public accounting, and see where that takes me. Again, I'm very thankful for the MSCPA's continued support. Without scholarships like these, attending college, and becoming a CPA, would not have been possible for me. I truly thank you for helping me reach those goals."

2010/2011 Minority College Winner

Tina Jackson, St. Louis, St. Louis University

Promoting Profession Impacts: "I'm honored to receive a LEAP minority scholarship. It's awesome to have an organization such as the MSCPA that is doing so much to promote the CPA profession. As a graduate student pursuing the CPA licensure, it's great to have access to all of the resources the MSCPA has to offer. As I move forward with completing my education, and starting my career in accounting, I look forward to becoming more involved with the MSCPA."
